'X' died on May2,1519 in Cloux, France. Legend has it that King Francis was at his side when he died cradling X's head in his arms.

There was oppression in Europe to the use of 'X', as they were considered infidel symbols, nad it took several hundred years before they were in commo use. Their earliesst known use is in a Sicilian coin dated back to 1134; in Britain, the first use is in 1490.
