Objectivism : Ayn Rand Philosophy

Who says a woman doesnot have a sound head over her shoulders. I dont know if the statement is wrong, but there has been an exception to this fact(if it is so). The lady who gave the philosophy of Objectivism and through her mammoth Novels namely 'Atlas Shrugged' and 'Fountainhead' was indeed more brainy than even most of the men we have seen in the glorious past of our Literature.
Formally Ayn Rand named her philosophy "Objectivism" but she caled it a philosophy of living on earth.
"My philosophy in essence," she said, "is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity and reason as his only absolute." Strong characters which portray her theory in true spirit namely, Howard Roark(in
Fountainhead) and John Galt (in Atlas Shrugged) have bean beautifully handled in the stories which have attained the status of classics over the years. Though they were written back in the 1940s but the idea that they coney holds relevance even today.
For those of you who haven't read any of the works of Ayn Rand; go ahead n grab a copy!

It is a great way of telling how Globalizaton actually took place; it is still continuing. With myself being an Indian and that too in the age-group that saw all the changes taking place in front of his eyes; the Y2K, the Out-sourcing and the Off-shoring and everything else that helped in flattening the world.
Great

Globalization: Results of hard Work or fate
What have been India's strides into the realms of Globalization been; are they earnings from hard work or just the fate of a 100billion strong nation state. A country with such a population was bound to make its presence felt in the international scenario no matter who where at the helm of affairs in running the nation. There were these fabulous graduates from the I.I.Ts. and thus they drove us into the fast lane towards development. The petty politicians have done little help in realising the dreams of the Urban Indian. Three cheers for the Visionary of a man named Jawaharlal Nehru. India will always be grateful to him for the vision and mettle he showed in starting the I.I.Ts.
Coming back to the rush of investments into the country, which can be mainly attributed to the interest F.I.Is. have been showing in the Indian Economy. Part of the investments coming to India have been because of the needs in the international market. When production exceeds demand, you search markets to sell your products or commodities and when you have no valid reason to sell them you turn these commodities into Brands. This is the scenario in the Indian market, No matter every Mr Sharma and Mr Gupta is busy shopping every weekend!
